Local Network Monitoring

(Internal)



   SyslogIT® will collect local (internal) network data from the firewall syslog to report network computer activity. Everywhere a computer user visits on the Internet or network is logged in the firewall syslog. This data is recorded in the SyslogIT SQL database for searching and reporting. The diagram below illustrates a typical local office network and one firewall. The computer hosting SyslogIT® will then collect and "Live" monitor the syslog data from the firewall.
